Ghanaian international Andre Ayew was absolutely on fire this afternoon at the Liberty Stadium as he continue his scoring form with brace to power Swansea City to 2-1 home victory over Middlesbrough in the English Championship.
The Ghana Black Stars skipper scored the maiden goal for swans in the 40th minute to put them to lead until the last whistle in the first half was blown by referee Ward to end the score to 1-0.
Back from recess, both sides found it difficult to find the back of the net deep into the second fragment of the game, but Egyptian international midfielder Sam Morsy equalized in the 91st minute to level the game for the visitors.
The 31-year Ayew added his second goal of the game in the stoppage-time just five minutes after Morsy’s equalizer following a penalty awarded for the hosts with his deadly left footed to convert the score to 2-1 to secure a well deserve victory for Swansea.
Ayew also scored a 96th-minute penalty to give Steve Cooper’s men victory at Stoke on Wednesday.
