Andre Ayew scores late penalty as Swansea secure a win over Stoke

Stoke City after beating Luton and Sheffield Wed were unable to make it three wins on their home turf after an intriguing game against Swansea City.

Swansea City came from one goal down and found the net twice before the end of the exciting game to earn a remarkable comeback 1-2 narrow win at Bet365 stadium in Stoke-on-Trent in the English Championship on Wednesday night. 

The hosts took the lead in the earliest minutes through forward Nick Powell before Wales international defender Connor Roberts quickly restored parity in the 19th minute in the space of thirteen minutes before the end of first half. 

Ghana Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew registered his name on the score sheet for Swansea with a decent penalty in the 90+6 minutes to convert it to 1-2 at the Bet365 stadium. 

The 31-year old Ayew has now scored 11 goals in 31 appearances with 2 assist this season for Swansea.
