Ghana youth forwarder, Daniel Agloe Lomotey wins the Man of The Match award in WAFA’s 5-4 slim win against Medeama SC in Sogakope on Sunday afternoon on their match day seven fixture.
The mercurial striker nets four goals in a sensational eye popping performance for his side to beat the Mauve and Yellow lads in a nine-goal thriller.
The 21-year old Lomotey fired the earliest goal to put the hosts in front, he then scored in the 36th and 45th minute to make it hat-trick for the Academy lads after Godwin Agbevor’s goal in the 31st minute before the end of first half.
He scored his fourth goal in the 84th minute before Justice Blay gave his thunderbolt to end the beautiful game on 5-4 score-line.
Lomotey becomes the first player to score four goals in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign as WAFA SC thrash Medeama SC on 3rd January, 2021.
The four-goals champion is currently leading the GPL goalking chart after the end of week seven fixtures with 7goals in 7matches with the exception of Ebusua Dwarfs and Asante Kotoko SC game which was postponed due to Asante Kotoko clash against Sudan based club Al-Hilal in the CAF Inter club competitions.
