Ghanaian professional midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey was on target for French League 2 side Amiens Sporting Club as league leaders Troyes suffered a 3-1 defeat in the French League 2 this afternoon.
Lomotey (23) was handed a starting role in Amiens’ week thirty(30) encounter against Troyes as he lasted the entire duration. The steadfast midfielder played a crucial role in his side’s triumph as he scores the second goal for his club.
It was Malian midfielder Rominigue Kouamé N’Guessan who scored the opening goal for the visiting club in the 15th minute before Amiens’ Iron Gomis restored parity to end the entertaining first half 1-1 stalemate.
Emmanuel Lomotey scored the second goal for Amiens SC after connecting well with Arnaud Lusamba’s pass, which took the hosts to a comfortable 2-1 lead in the second half just nine minute after recess.
Lethal midfielder Arnaud Lusamba again assisted Alexis Blin inside 78th minute which doubled the lead for the home team to grab their well deserved points at Stade de la Licorne stadium.
