GPL Match Report : Accra Hearts of Oak 6-1 Bechem United

 
Bechem United’s unbeaten run at a halt as Accra Hearts of Oak sets the new year rolling with a 6-1 victory over the hunters on Saturday afternoon at the Accra sports stadium on matchday 7.

The first half ended in a goalless draw with the Phobians wasting golden opportunities which could have resulted in goals. Black Satellite’s skipper, Daniel Afriyie came closer to breaking the deadlock of the game but saw his effort gone wide over the hills.

Youngster Prince Adu Kwabena quickly pulled one back with a fine strike minutes after Ansah’s penalty.

Nigerien midfielder Mamane Lawali scored his first ever Ghana premiere league goal in the 88th minute.

Substitute Benjamin Afutu sealed the demolition exercise with another fine strike in the 90th minute.

The victory moves Kosta Papic’s side to 2nd place on the league log with 11points in 7games with Bechem united still sitting atop of the table with 14points in 7 games.
