GWPL Matchday 1 Preview: Soccer Intell. Ladies vs Sea Lions, H2H, Stats and Records
Soccer Intellectuals begins their 2021 campaign in an all Central region affairs as they lock horns with Sea Lions ladies football club on Sunday afternoon at the Ajumako-Asassan park.
Smashing the second highest point at the southern sector of the women’s league in last season’s campaign, the will begin the season with a regional derby in quest of another fruitful season.
They had four (4) wins, two draws and a defeat in seven (7) league outings and will be looking forward to repeating same feat this year.
Their only defeat came as they fell to the western giants, Hasaacas ladies by 5-0.
Sea Lions on the other hand performed not quite well as they finished the first round of last year’s campaign at the 6th position with 6points in 7 league games.
They won one (1), drew three (3) and lost three (3). Their only victory of that campaign came against Ladystrikers when they thumped them by 3-0.
The last encounter between Soccer Intellectuals and Sea Lions ended in a 1-0 victory in favour of Soccer Intellectuals.
