Hidden Talent Discovery Appoints Eric Mends as the Secretary General for West Africa

This was confirmed Saturday, June 12, 2021 following a post-tournament meeting of executives and pioneer founders on zoom 

Eric Mends is presently the president of Manchester City Ghana, a supporters union, for the past 5 years and offers punditry services at Plan B FM, a local radio station in Tema.

Mr Mends also founded the Apam City Football Club in 2008 to support young people across the midlands and deprived areas in the Gomoa District in the Central region of Ghana.

He is a qualified graduate with sports management worldwide specifically in soccer management and scouting and a GFA talent ID Spotter. He has over 10 years experience working as a scout and in player recruitment.

As an experienced mentor, Eric specialises in building confidence and self-esteem working with youth and academy players.

He also has over 10 years experience as a Division 2 league player and manager.

Eric has managed the most successful youth football club in Gomoa West District and has placed 33 players into academies of which 10 have played at international levels.

Mr Mends holds Marketing degrees from the Takoradi Technical University and is currently a management member for Joseph Attamah, Ghana National team player.

Hidden Talent discovery is a non-profit football career organisation aiming to scout and

promote young talented players between the ages of 17-22 years,

from every regions globally.

 They are are strongly in support of youths in football skills as

well as encouraging positive involvement in their own society. Our goal is to provide an instructive environments to these young talents, as well as fielding a competitive team that enjoys success globally and regionally as we are dedicated to the competitive nature of football.

They aim to give these young athletes an opportunity to learn what

it takes to play at the next level, making them stars and

professionals to watch in their communities, regions, globally

and also succeed in their own individual lives.
