Relegation strugglers (Liberty Professionals) are extremely enjoying the second phase of the GPL after they adopted the WAFA Stadium in Soagakope as their home grounds for the remainder of the Ghana Premier League season.

The game began with Berekum Chelsea bossing the midfield but failed to dish out good passes to their forwarders which helped the Scientific Soccer lads to end the first half with 1-0 scoreline with the aid of midfielder Wayo Abraham.

Midfielder of Berekum came close to canceling Wayo’s first half strike, after shooting a powerful shot from the edge of the box which was quickly blocked by one of the defending players of Liberty.
In the 79th minutes, Liberty doubled their lead via forward Adamu Amadu to seal victory for the hosts.
The two goals from Wayo Abraham and Adamu Amadu was enough to grab the maximum points for the home team.
The 2-0 win against Berekum Chelsea in Sogakope catapults the hosts to escape the relegation zone with 24points in 21games.
