MATCH REPORT: Great Olympics 1-0 Elmina Sharks – Maxwell Abbey scores to catapult Olympics to top three.

The capital based club Accra Great Olympics bounced back after they suffered a 3-1 away defeat to Bechem United to beat Elmina Sharks with a comfortable 1-0 win at Accra Sports Stadium to go second place on the table log on Tuesday afternoon of the Ghana Premier League week fourteen fixture. 

Elmina Sharks with the most drawn games in the ongoing GPL campaign failed to do amendment in their encounter against Olympics. 

Maxwell Abbey registered his goal on the 22nd minute with a slow strike to break the virginity of the game after a brilliant one-two pass from Yeboah and Gladson Awako. 

The second half produced no goal. 

Maxwell Nii Abbey has taken his goal tally to five after an instrumental display which helped Great Olympics to beat the visitors in Accra. 

The hosts failed to score in the second half but it did not matter as the ‘Dade’ boys comfortably win to go top three on the league standings.
