French Ligue 1 side Metz has switched their attention to Mali’s Aboubakar Kouyate as the French side drops their pursuit on Udinese and Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku after their 4million Euros bid was accepted by fellow French counterparts Troyes.
According to reports, Troyes central defender completed his Metz medicals on Tuesday night and has signed on a three-year deal and the “Reds” are no longer looking for Opoku.
Troyes were holding on to more money for the 23-year-old Malian towering man but after Metz decided to switch attention to Opoku , the 4million Euros fee was accepted.
The Ghanaian defender finished the second half of last season on loan at Amiens. Making seven appearances out of the remaining seven matches and playing every single minutes with 630, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
