Fertile winger Issahaku Fatawu’s long range strike was not enough as Ghana team B shock a 2-1 lose to White Wolves of Uzbekistan at Markaziy Stadium. Jaloliddin Masharipov won the day for Uzbekistan after Ghana’s wonderkid Issahaku Fatawu’s ringlet free-kick from a long distance to beat the intelligence of Uzbekistan’s goalkeeper.
The goals from Otabek Shukurov and Jaloliddin Masharipov were clearly defensive errors which actually secured a vital win for the Uzbeks at the end of the international friendly showdown in Tashkent.
The opening goal was scored by the White Wolves inside 5th minute, but Issahaku Fatawu’s fearsome strikes failed to cancel the deficit for Ghanaians until the last whistle was blown for end of first proceedings.
In the 72nd minute, Steadfast FC deadly winger Issahaku Abdul Fatawu’s dazzling display in the second half easily found the back of net after a thunderbolt curling free-kick on a direct spot to bring the game back to it normalcy state for Ghana after poor display in the first half.
The Uzbeks quickly added another goal to covert the score to 2-1.
With five (5) minutes left on the clock, another brilliant pass saw Ghanaian forwarder as he takes a shot from the edge of the box but his effort was quickly blocked by one of the defending players.
Dynamic Issahaku Fatawu proved his qualities in putting magnificent output yet the Black Stars team B tasted defeat to the Central Asian side Uzbekistan.
