The board chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbui Afede XIV has revealed that their newly appointed coach has been their number one target for a long time.
According to him, their chase for the former Medeama Sporting club gaffer didn’t start right after the departure of Serbian trainer, Kosta Papic but rather have been their long term target.
“Our desire for him did not arise after the departure of Papic, he has been our long term target, the good news is that Hearts has been his long term target as well.”
“We see him as a man of integrity who is looking for an opportunity, one which Hearts is able to provide him. The board is very confident that we have gotten the right person”, he added.
Samuel Boadu joined the Phobians days ago on a three and half year deal after leaving Tarkwa based, Medeama Sporting club.
