WPL Match Report: Ruthless Berry Ladies tame Police Ladies to maintain top spot

The Greater Accra derby of the Ghana Women premier league took off at the La McDan Town Park as Berry Ladies edged passed Police Ladies by 2-1.

Coach Mercy Tagoe’s side made sure they maintain their unbeaten run with another scintillating performance on the afternoon.
Faustina Akpo shot the visitors ahead in the 32nd minute  with a fine header, pouncing on a loose ball in the eighteen yard box.

Police responded with a quick equalizer just a minute after conceeding, with a beautiful set piece from Victoria Williams Teye.
The first department of the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

A second half penalty from the visitors was nicely converted by Thelma Baffour to ensure Berry Ladies maintains their 100% record this season.

Berry Ladies will welcome Thunder Queens to the Madina Astro turf as Police ladies visits Immigration Ladies on matchday 5.
